Campaign Briefs

What a brief is

Before any actual content gets written, Nuviro produces a brief — the campaign's objective, target audience, primary message, key points, and call to action. Think of it as the strategy memo a human marketer would write before drafting a single post.

This matters more than it might seem: once approved, the brief — not the raw signal — becomes the main driver of tone and emphasis for everything generated after it. The signal stays the source of facts; the brief decides how to talk about them.

Does it need your approval?

Depends on the campaign's scope:

  • Full Campaign — always needs your explicit approval. No setting changes this.
  • Social Only / Mini Campaign — may auto-approve, depending on your workspace's approval policy (Settings → Workspace, if you're an admin). If there's no policy configured, only Social Only auto-approves by default.

You'll see the brief's status on the campaign page either way — "pending review" if it's waiting on you, or already "approved" if it auto-approved.

Reviewing a brief

Open the campaign → Brief tab. You'll see the full narrative — objective, audience, message, key points, CTA. Three options:

  • Approve — content generation starts immediately for every channel this campaign covers.
  • Request Changes — send it back with your own notes on what to adjust; triggers a fresh brief generation.
  • Reject — stop here; no content gets generated from this brief.

Editing a brief directly

While a brief is still awaiting your decision, you can edit its fields directly instead of requesting a full regeneration — useful for a small wording tweak. Once approved, a brief becomes read-only; a real revision after that point is a fresh regeneration, not an edit.

What happens after approval

Nuviro generates one asset per channel your brief covers — written copy always, plus an image and/or video script depending on your workspace's per-channel settings. See Generating Content and Generating Images.

You can also generate a design brief for this campaign at any time — it's a separate, on-demand action, not part of this per-channel asset generation, so it doesn't wait on brief approval and doesn't need one.
