Generating Images
Every image-capable channel in your campaign gets a real, AI-generated image as part of content generation — no design tool required. This page covers how that works and how to steer it when the first result isn't quite right.
The first image
When your campaign's brief is approved, Nuviro generates an image for each channel that needs one, grounded in your product description, the campaign's message, and (if you've uploaded one) a real reference image. On paid plans, it generates a few candidate versions at once so you have something to choose between right away rather than only ever seeing one option.
Picking between candidates
If more than one candidate was generated, the asset card in your campaign's Assets tab shows a "N candidates ready" badge. Click it (or "Open page" on the card) to open the full asset view, where you'll see every candidate side by side — pick whichever looks best. This doesn't approve anything by itself; it just decides which version is the "current" one you'll go on to approve or reject.
Using a reference image (Pro)
If you have a real screenshot, logo, or product shot, upload it — either when creating the campaign, or later when regenerating an individual image. Nuviro will incorporate that actual image rather than inventing a generic one from scratch, which matters a lot for accurately showing your real product. This is a Pro-plan feature.
Regenerating an image
If the first result isn't right, click the regenerate icon on the image asset. You'll get a dialog with a few options:
- Style instructions — tell it what to change, in plain language: "make the logo bigger," "use a brighter background," "remove the text overlay."
- Reference image — attach or replace a real screenshot/logo.
- Number of candidates — on paid plans, generate several variations at once instead of just one.
Editing your current image vs. starting fresh
Here's the part that trips people up: if you give style instructions without uploading a new reference image, Nuviro edits your CURRENT image — treating it as the exact starting point and changing only what you asked for, keeping everything else (composition, colors, layout) as-is. So "leave it as is but remove the logo" does exactly that — the current image stays the base, and the logo comes out.
If you actually want a completely different image — a new concept, not a tweak — check "Start fresh instead" in the regenerate dialog. Without it, your instructions will always be applied as edits to what's already there.
| You want to... | What to do |
|---|---|
| Make a small, targeted change to the current image | Type style instructions, leave everything else unchecked |
| Ground the image in a real product screenshot | Upload a reference image |
| See a few different directions to choose from | Increase "Number of candidates" (paid plans) |
| Throw out the current image and start over | Type instructions AND check "Start fresh instead" |
Matching a localized campaign's global image
If you're working on a localized version of a campaign (see Localization) and the global campaign already has an approved image you like, the regenerate dialog offers a "Match [Global Campaign]'s image" option — it reuses that image's exact composition and layout while swapping in your own localized reference content, instead of generating a whole new scene.
